One of Senator Davis’ top priorities is to assist with and help resolve problems you may have with state or local government. There is no full-time district staff but the Atlanta Office is available to help you successfully communicate with government agencies. While Senator Davis cannot promise a ruling in your favor, he can ensure that your issue will be heard with fair treatment. Here are some of the ways Senator Davis’ office can help:

Honor Someone Special with a Flag Flown Over the State Capitol

Senator Davis can provide flags that have been flown over the Capitol on a specific date to commemorate a special event. These flags are then mailed with an accompanying certificate, indicating for whom the flag was flown and on what day.

Senate Pages

The Legislative Intern Program

The Legislative Intern Program provides Georgia’s college students with a unique opportunity to participate in the legislative process. The students receive college credit for their internship during the Session of the General Assembly. Interns are chosen from among the top ranking academic students throughout the state and are nominated and selected by the political science departments of the participating colleges. The interns are assigned to the various standing committees of the Senate and provide important assistance including the tracking of legislation assigned to the committees. Through their service, interns receive an educational reward not found in the classroom – the enriching experience of working directly with lawmakers. Click here to apply for an internship.
