The Urgency Of Now
Georgia is the battleground. The future of democracy runs through our state. And we can’t afford to sit back. As Republicans sharpen their national playbook on our state, we must rise together—159 counties strong—to hold the line and power a progressive firewall. The Urgency of now demands leadership that wins from the ground up, and that’s why Hardie Davis is running for Chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia.

A Lifelong Democrat, Rooted in Georgia Values — From the Heart of Georgia to the Halls of Power.
Born in Macon, Georgia, and raised in Monroe County before settling in Augusta in 1985, Hardie Davis comes from a proud blue-collar, union family that worked in the utility industry and believed in the value of hard work, faith, and education — values that helped raise and send four children to college.
That foundation laid the groundwork for a lifetime of public service. For over 16 years, Hardie Davis has fought for Georgia communities — first in the Georgia General Assembly, and later as a two-term Mayor of Augusta-Richmond County. His record reflects a Democrat who turns bold values into real progress: building coalitions, passing transformative legislation, and delivering results that improve lives.

A Party That Wins!
A Strategy That Works.
1. Permanent Organizing, Not Pop-Up Politics: Year-round field infrastructure across rural, suburban, and urban Georgia — not just during election season.
2. Compete Everywhere, Win Anywhere: Re-engage rural Georgia with strategy and respect. We won’t win every county, but we must close the gap and fight for every vote.
3. Grow the Bench: Recruit, train, and support candidates at every level — school boards, sheriffs, commissions, judges, and city councils. Win from the bottom up.
4. Fund the Fight: Build a sustainable fundraising operation that supports the grassroots and the top of the ticket. Restore donor trust. Mobilize resources where they’re needed most.
